Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 4, 2026

BOXBOROUGH — Conservation Commission allocates $15,000 for Open Space plan update. The Boxborough Conservation Commission voted unanimously to approve a $15,000 expenditure from its Conservation Trust Fund to support the 2027 Open Space and Recreation Plan update, with additional funding to come from a state Environmental and Energy Affairs Planning Assistance Grant for which Chair Elizabeth Markiewicz was authorized to sign a letter of support. The Commission unanimously closed a hearing on an Amended Order of Conditions at 340 Codman Hill Road and agreed to support an amphibian brigade citizen science project by adding a web page link.

Commissioners deferred recommendations on proposed bylaws for a rodenticide ban and single-use plastic restrictions until final drafts are available.
