BOXBOROUGH — Fire Station Committee votes to block amendments that condition STM funding. The Fire Station Building Committee voted unanimously on March 9 to reject amendments to Articles 1 or 2 that would make funding contingent on additional requirements. Chair Mary Brolin convened the committee to discuss Special Town Meeting logistics following public concerns about a potential amendment.
Vice Chair Mac Reid moved the measure, which was seconded by committee member Alan Ford, and it passed unanimously in preparation for the upcoming STM vote.
