Boxborough panel sets $105 mini-golf sponsorship for fall festival

Economic Development Committee · Meeting of August 26, 2026

Boxborough Economic Development Committee sets $105 mini-golf sponsorships ahead of second Village for a Day. Staff liaison Alec Wade said the original $175-per-hole rate would have brought in nearly double what the roughly $700 course rental actually costs, so members settled on $105 a hole, aiming for $945 across nine sponsors. Wade plans to ask the Select Board on September 14 to open a gift account to handle the funds.

The committee also reviewed a new town website business resource page with Kelly Price, discussed a Planning Board review of a temporary data-center moratorium and Campanelli's proposed buildings at 600 and 700 Beaver Brook Road, and heard member Mark White say the town's master plan "is not a regulatory document." Members approved two sets of minutes 4-0 and set a special Village for a Day planning session for September 9.
