Boxborough Conservation Commission approves 975 Mass Avenue order of conditions unanimously

BOXBOROUGH — December 3, 2025 — Boxborough Conservation Commission approves order of conditions, opens new hearing. The commission voted unanimously December 3 to approve the order of conditions for a project at 975 Mass Avenue, correcting preamble language to cite "bylaw regulation section 3521" rather than "bylaw requirement" and striking a redundant condition before signing two copies for submission to the DEP. The board also opened a public hearing on a proposal by applicant Jim Bassman and owners Brian and Elizabeth Caldwell to demolish a detached garage and construct an attached garage and breezeway at 272 Depot Road, then continued the hearing to December 17 after engineer Greg Roy of Pilsner and Roy presented revised plans showing a net reduction in impervious surface; Roy said he had no objections to any comments from the commission's outside peer reviewer. A separate NOI for a septic replacement at 959 Hill Road is expected to be noticed in time for a December 17 hearing that staff said could potentially open and close in a single session.
