Boxborough Select Board fixes Halloween liquor license error in four minutes

BOXBOROUGH — October 31, 2025 — Boxborough Select Board corrects liquor license error for Thinking Flower Coffee Shop in brief Halloween session. The board convened for approximately four minutes on the morning of Friday, October 31, to fix a procedural mistake Chair Kristen Hilberg said she made at Monday's regular meeting, when she read the wrong motion during a public hearing for Thinking Flower Coffee Shop, Inc., at 629 Massachusetts Avenue. In two unanimous five-to-zero roll call votes, the board approved the correct on-premise, all-alcohol beverage restaurant license the shop had applied for, and separately revoked a package store license that had been inadvertently issued at Monday's session. All five members — Hilberg, Bob Snapple, Priya Sundaram, Sam Anderson, and Wes Folks — voted aye on both measures.
