BOXBOROUGH — Zoning Board unanimously approves signage permit with material requirement. The Zoning Board of Appeals approved a special permit for Barbara Shapokas Taglier to install new signage at 25A Stow Road, owned by Debra Jeanson. The Board required the sign to be constructed of wood, not synthetic materials, and limited its height to 7 feet from ground level to comply with Town Center Design Guidelines.
The Board declined to recommend a phone number on the signage despite the applicant's request. Shapokas had sought a permanent sign location for 11 years. The Board also elected Shawn McCormack as Chair and Than Stuntz as Clerk, both effective at the close of the meeting.
