BOXBOROUGH — The Well-Being Committee discussed expanding support for the Community Services Coordinator amid a surge in residents seeking help. Meeting with members Mary Pavlik, Mary-Halvey Dove, Anne McNeece, and Elizabeth Markiewicz present (Al Murphy absent), the committee heard that Coordinator Wendy Trinks has handled increasingly complex cases caused by reductions in federal and state services. The committee proposed increasing Clinical Supervisor consultation time, arranging social work training, and adjusting appointment scheduling to preserve mornings for other work.
The committee also reported the Movement Series drew a 64 percent attendance increase and noted Free Bee Community Markets scheduled for July 11, August 15, September 12, and October 24.
