BOXBOROUGH — Water Resources Committee approves prior minutes and plans Annual Town Meeting outreach. Chair Leslie Fox presented draft handouts for the town meeting and Fiiers Day booth, with member Cindy Markowitz suggesting expanded educational material. The committee discussed a potential private well-testing program, including parameters, cost, and funding sources, and will gather existing test data before moving forward.
Fox also summarized a Metropolitan Area Planning Council water infrastructure study for the MAGIC subregion and noted Planning Board member Mark White had not received meeting notification; Clerk Bryon Clemence will distribute the link. Follow-up discussion on connections to Littleton Water Department and Acton Water District was tabled pending additional water quality data. The committee will reconvene May 26, 2026.
