BOXBOROUGH — Water Resources Committee endorses cistern inspection warrant article recommendation. The committee voted 6 to 0 on March 24 to support the May 2026 ATM article on cistern inspections and repair, which has drawn $65,000 in appropriations since 2022. Chair Leslie Fox and the panel also reviewed three warrant articles, informally signaling support for MS4 stormwater permitting and proposing budget requests for an outreach brochure and postage.
The LWD-BXB water line project completed its new well, with directional drilling and connections remaining; Board of Health regulations for private wells took effect February 11, with transfer testing beginning in June.
