Boxborough Sustainability Committee advances Green Community weatherization and climate planning. Ian Gilson reported that Eversource has approved weatherization work at the Department of Public Works, Blanchard School, Town Hall, and the library, with Blanchard scheduled for completion by winter break and other facilities beginning in March. Chair Kate Davies and Gilson will plan the sequence of projects for competitive grant applications, with the committee expressing preference for Town Hall over Blanchard School for heat pump installation.

The committee approved November meeting minutes unanimously and discussed the Climate Action Plan work-in-progress, including pursuit of a greenhouse gas inventory through MVP options grant and MAPC Technology Assistance Program funding.
