Boxborough Select Board recommends comprehensive Annual Town Meeting warrant with personnel and municipal updates. The Board voted unanimously to recommend a 3 percent cost-of-living wage adjustment for nonunion and non-contract employees, estimated at $34,055, plus a $15,000 compensation and classification study approved 4-1 with Robert Stemple abstaining. Chair Kristin Hilberg brought the vote to recommend Than Stuntz as Planning Board Associate Member, approved 4-1; the appointment passed unanimously 5-0.
The Board also recommended approximately fifteen warrant articles covering highway reimbursement, technology upgrades, a plastics reduction bylaw, and OPEB trust funding. The Fire Station Building Committee was authorized to approve designer finalists and negotiate the architect contract subject to Select Board and Town Counsel review.
