Select Board authorizes special election warrant, accepts cultural grant

Boxborough Select Board moves forward on March election and approves cultural funding. Robert Stemple, acting in Chair capacity with Kristin Hilberg absent, led the board to unanimously authorize the Special Town Election Warrant for March 17, 2026, and accept a $900 Acton Boxborough Cultural Council grant for the Movement Series program. The board also appointed Christopher Lowney as a Boxborough Police Officer effective February 17, 2026, and unanimously removed a special town meeting warrant article for October 2025 town meeting expenses, following a determination that a reserve fund transfer was the appropriate payment method.
