Boxborough Select Board unanimously approved Town Administrator Michael Johns' performance evaluation with a score of 4.54 out of 5.0. The board appointed Gary Kushner as Planning Board representative to the Water Resources Committee for a term through June 30, 2029, and accepted Joe Ferguson's resignation from the Steele Farm Advisory Committee. Finance Committee Chair Antony Newton presented three financial-policy updates under review: revisions to Reserve Fund Transfer policy allowing transfers for unforeseen expenses, streamlined intradepartmental budget-transfer procedures delegated to department heads, and establishment of an Audit Committee to oversee auditor selection and external audit oversight.
No formal votes were taken on the policy proposals.
