Boxborough Select Board unanimously approved its fiscal year 2027 liaison assignments and made multiple board appointments. Chair Robert Stemple was appointed to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for a term ending June 30, 2028. Town Administrator Michael Johns reported that the acquisition of property at 984 Mass Avenue is advancing toward a July 17 closing.
The Board received a presentation on the Specialized Stretch Code but requested additional research, with Member Kristin Hilberg voicing concerns about impacts on development costs and housing affordability.
