BOXBOROUGH — Select Board approved hazardous waste partnership with Devens Regional Collection Center. The board voted 5-0-0 to recommend joining the Devens Regional Collection Center for its 20 annual collection dates, up from the current twice-yearly schedule; Director of Public Works Ed Kukkula projected cost savings within seven years despite fees. In related unanimous votes, the Board established an Economic Development Committee Gift Account for EDC programs including the October 3 Village for a Day event, amended the Gift Policy to allow Town Administrator approval of gifts under $250, closed the November 16 Fall Town Meeting warrant, and appointed Kelley Price to the EDC through June 30, 2027.
