Select Board approves $5.6M in bond anticipation notes

BOXBOROUGH — Select Board backs $5.6 million in bond anticipation notes across two series. Chair Kristin Hilberg moved unanimous approval of $424,000 in Series A notes at 3.25 percent (sold to bankHometown) and $5.165 million in Series B notes at 4.00 percent (sold to TD Financial Products LLC), the latter including a $57,496.58 premium. In concurrent business, the board unanimously adopted an updated Sustainable Purchasing or Environmentally Preferable Procurement (EPP) Policy expanding town purchasing standards beyond recycled products to include energy conservation, water preservation, and pollution reduction.

The board also unanimously scheduled the 2027 Annual Town Meeting for May 10-12, 2027, at the Boxborough Regency Hotel.
