BOXBOROUGH — The Boxborough Select Board approved a $35 flat fee for abatement abutters lists, replacing a variable fee structure. Proposed by Town Assessor Lynda Cajka, the unanimous vote takes effect immediately and prioritizes efficiency improvements over revenue generation. The board also unanimously appointed Diane Ford to the Council on Aging and reappointed Gary Kushner as Finance Committee representative to the Capital Committee, and approved the November 3 State Election Warrant.
