Recreation Commission approves four-week summer program and raises weekly fee.

BOXBOROUGH — Recreation Commission unanimously backs four-week Flerra Summer Playground from July 6 through July 31, 2026. Chair Hilary Greven moved approval of the schedule and Vice Chair Matt Spurling motioned to raise the weekly fee to $150 per week to sustain operations serving an estimated 175 children weekly. The commission also unanimously endorsed the Flerra Playground Improvements Community Preservation Act article that the Community Preservation Committee approved for the Annual Town Meeting warrant.
