Public Celebrations Committee plans Memorial Day breakfast, assigns outreach tasks
Public Celebrations & Ceremonies Committee · Meeting of March 4, 2026
Boxborough's Public Celebrations and Ceremonies Committee approved prior minutes and distributed Memorial Day Parade duties. Chair Jennette Kollmann proposed providing breakfast items — donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate — for the Minutemen and other parade participants, with the committee reaching consensus on the plan. George Powell will contact state elected officials; Cassie LaRussa will draft a single invitation for all parade participants; John Fallon will reach out to the minister and Minutemen; and Becky Neville will coordinate with fire and police.
The committee deferred Fifers Day specifics to April 1 but directed Powell to notify legislators of the June 20th date.
