Public Celebrations Committee approves prior minutes, reviews holiday events.

Public Celebrations & Ceremonies Committee · Meeting of January 7, 2026

BOXBOROUGH — Public Celebrations and Ceremonies Committee declares two holiday events a success. Chair Jennette Kollmann and members John Fallon, Cassie LaRussa, and Becky Neville voted 4-0 to approve December minutes and assessed the Tree Lighting and Menorah Lighting ceremonies as well-received by families. The committee decided to shift next year's Tree Lighting to 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. to ensure darkness at lighting time and will recruit new volunteers for crafts and face painting.

Budget remains at $1,500, contingent on Dunkin's hot chocolate donation; Neville will circulate an expense spreadsheet, and the committee will conduct a supply inventory in April.
