Planning Board · Meeting of March 2, 2026
BOXBOROUGH — Planning Board recommends three zoning amendments to Town Meeting. The Board voted unanimously to advance revisions expanding accessory dwelling unit size limits, revising parking calculations, and redefining Specialty Food Shops, with the latter pending review by the Building Commissioner. In a public hearing on six proposed amendments, Clerk Rich Guzzardi presented a gateway business district proposal for the Interchange Commercial District along Massachusetts Avenue, designed to restrict by-right industrial uses such as warehouses and distribution centers while encouraging community-serving retail and professional uses.
The public hearing was continued to March 16.
