Personnel Board greenlights 2025 annual report, tables FY 27 salary plan.
Personnel Board · Meeting of January 20, 2026
Boxborough Personnel Board votes unanimously on 2025 report while deferring FY 27 salary adjustment. Chair Allan MacLean will consult with the Finance Committee and Select Board to finalize compensation recommendations in light of the town's newly announced elimination of the FY 27 Proposition 2.5 override. Assistant Town Administrator Rajon Hudson reported three recent resignations attributed to shorter commutes, higher pay, and opportunities in larger organizations; Town Hall staff are exploring unionization with no finalized action.
The Board reviewed draft job descriptions for Conservation Agent/Sustainability Coordinator, Assistant Treasurer/Collector, and Assistant Town Accountant, with members to assign grades at the February 17 meeting.
