Personnel Board endorses Town Meeting article on compensation study.

Personnel Board · Meeting of February 17, 2026

BOXBOROUGH — Personnel Board approves funding article for compensation and benefits study. Chair Allan MacLean reported that the Finance Committee, which does not support salary re-gradings, backs the Board's 3 percent cost-of-living adjustment recommendation and endorses conducting a compensation survey, the first in over six years. Assistant Town Administrator Rajon Hudson will solicit quotes and return to the Board with pricing, which will be needed to frame the Town Meeting article.

The Board also unanimously approved the Principal Assessor job description, a non-union position; other job description and re-grading work has been paused pending collective bargaining talks with the newly recognized AFSCME Local 93 union.
