Personnel Board endorses 3% COLA for fiscal 2027

BOXBOROUGH — Personnel Board votes 4-0 on 3% COLA for fiscal 2027. Chair Allan MacLean said the board settled on the adjustment over a preliminary range of 2 to 2.5 percent to support "Employer of Choice" goals, employee morale, and parity with existing collective-bargaining agreements, with no town override required. The recommendation will advance to the Finance Committee and Select Board before Town Meeting.
Assistant Town Administrator Rajon Hudson separately briefed the board on a union organization's outreach to the Town Administrator regarding potential Town Hall staff unionization.
