Perkins Woods Working Group · Meeting of June 25, 2026

BOXBOROUGH — The Perkins Woods Working Group unanimously approved a comprehensive land-management plan for the conservation area, beginning with a botanical survey modeled on work by Oxbow Associates at the adjacent Patch Hill trail. David Koonce, a Conservation Commission member, will request a proposal from Oxbow; the Conservation Commission and Agricultural Commission will explore funding. The group addressed property boundary issues: Tree Warden Ed Kukkula will assess a broken tree at 184 Littlefield Road; Town Planner Alec Wade will evaluate demolition costs for a shed encroaching from 152 Littlefield Road on a property owned by a Texas resident.

The Conservation Commission will serve as the primary contact for Sudbury Valley Trustees' future monitoring reports.
