Library Trustees approve meeting room policy, praise director.

BOXBOROUGH — Sargent Memorial Library Trustees approve meeting room policy and director performance review. The board unanimously advanced the Meeting Room Use Policy as amended under a motion by Nancy Settle-Murphy and seconded by Mikki Macdonald. Director Dr.
Peishan Bartley's annual review, moved by Robert McNeece and seconded by Macdonald, was also unanimous. Dr. Bartley reported receipt of approximately $16,000 in State Aid, completion of weatherizing and pergola projects, and ongoing LED lighting work.
Fire suppression upgrades are in the permit phase with Impact Fire quoting slightly over $10,000; the library is seeking additional quotes to meet bidding requirements.
