Library Trustees Approve Internet Safety and Pod Use Policies

BOXBOROUGH — Sargent Memorial Library Trustees approve two new patron policies at February meeting. The board unanimously adopted the Draft SML Internet Safety Policy and Draft Pod Use Policy following review by Director Dr. Peishan Bartley.
Bartley reported FY26 budget expenditures are on track and under budget, with the $50,000 Town Meeting appropriation designated as the last fund source for ongoing renovations. The library has added three patron laptops and ten portable device chargers; an LED lighting retrofit across Town Hall, DPW, and the Library is expected to complete in April, pending resolution of prior bidding errors.
