Library Board approves prior minutes, advances building projects and staffing plans.

BOXBOROUGH — Sargent Memorial Library Board unanimously approved March minutes at its April 6 meeting. Chair Mary Brolin and Library Director Dr. Peishan Bartley reported on track spending and announced the hiring of an Information Services Librarian (30 hours per week, starting April 27).

Building projects including pod sprinkler installation, study nook doors, and the Young Adult Cabana remain on budget at $200,000 from a Foundation donation plus $50,000 from a Town Warrant Article. The board deferred final vote on the Meeting Room Use Policy and is considering a $1,500 annual Biblio+ streaming subscription offering 3,500+ BBC titles.
