Housing Board Forms Subcommittees on Stow Road Property

BOXBOROUGH — Housing Board forms subcommittees to explore Stow Road property options. Chair R. Allen "Al" Murphy convened two task groups—one to research selling and one to explore development of the town-owned Stow Road property, which town staff said cannot be purchased outright.
The board voted unanimously to recommend Article 49 for Boxborough Rental Assistance Program funding at the Annual Town Meeting, supporting ongoing assistance to 17 renters. Members also authorized a grant request for a Housing Production Plan update, potentially enabling early 2027 funding.
