Fire station design search narrows to three finalists

Boxborough fire station project advances to design interviews. The Fire Station Building Committee unanimously selected Context Architecture, Kaestle Boos Associates Inc., and Tecton Architects to interview for designing a new fire station. From eight submitted proposals, Winter Street Architects and Caolo Bieniek Associates Inc. did not meet minimum requirements and were disqualified, while The Galante Architecture Studio received negative reference feedback.
The Committee continues Phase II, which encompasses design through bid preparation.
