BOXBOROUGH — Fire Station Building Committee approves $1.89M Context Architecture design contract. The committee unanimously recommended the contract for $1,891,050, down from the firm's $1,922,000 proposal through negotiations by Town Administrator Michael Johns, representing a 5.73 percent reduction below Town Meeting authorization. Michael Marshall was unanimously appointed as the committee's seventh member.
The committee also unanimously approved a $541,000 contract amendment with Vertex for owner's project management services through design-to-bidding phase.
