Boxborough Finance Committee reviews $2.4M FY27 budget with school cost surge. The committee discussed restructuring the Recreation Commission budget around its $30,000 revolving fund and reviewed the Police Department's proposal to add a second lieutenant position to reduce overtime costs from $60,823. The School Committee budget shows a 5.25 percent increase for each of the next three years, with special education costs up 16 percent and out-of-district tuition up 17 percent.
