BOXBOROUGH — Finance Committee approves reserve transfers and reviews Fire Department needs. The Finance Committee unanimously approved $503.80 for Treasurer expenses and $5,000 for Accountant services during its April 28 meeting. Chair Antony Newton directed detailed analysis of Fire Department maintenance requests totaling $33,000, including $12,500 for Engine 64 tanker pump rebuilding and $4,000 for tie-rod replacement, with the committee to review invoices and approve final requests within 15 days.
Committee members also reviewed the FY27 budget and prepared for the May 19 Annual Town Meeting.
