Conservation Commission allocates $5,000 for invasive management

Boxborough Conservation Commission funds invasive species management work. Acting Chair David Koonce led the Feb. 4 meeting with members Rich Grady, Lucy Indge, Steven Jeffreys, and Stephen Schmitt voting unanimously to approve a $5,000 local match grant from the Commission's Trust Fund for CISMA invasive species management and education at Patch Hill. The Commission also voted unanimously to require an amended Order of Conditions for 340 Codman Hill Road after discussions of a proposed stone wall relocation and impacts to turtle nesting habitat.
