Community Preservation Committee endorses May warrant articles

Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of January 8, 2026

Boxborough Community Preservation Committee advances warrant articles for town meeting. The committee voted January 8 to recommend seven articles for the May annual town meeting, including a $144,000 Town Hall roof replacement, $300,000 Flerra playground improvements, and $69,000 Boxborough Rental Assistance Program. Committee Chair John Fallon guided approval of each project.

Most votes passed unanimously; Michelle Ryan abstained on one Conservation Trust Fund option, and Fallon recused himself from the 1857 School House windows article and related chair authority vote. The committee voted to increase the administrative budget to $15,000.
