BOXBOROUGH — Committee reviews warrant articles ahead of Town Meeting. The Economic Development Committee discussed two Articles under Planning Board review: Article 7, on a plastic bag ban the Board voted to narrow to plastic bags only, and Article 9, on Design Review Board expansion that the Board voted 3-2 to pass over. Chair Abby Reip and members Lavanya Selvaraj and John Neyland will prepare recommendations for an EDC vote May 19, before Town Meeting.
The committee also is planning "Village for a Day" on October 3 and noted approval of a liquor license for the Thinking Flower restaurant.
