Boxborough Public Celebrations committee called Fifer's Day a success despite light parade attendance. Chair Jennette Kollmann's four-member panel voted unanimously to approve minutes from June and began initial Veterans Day planning, assigning member Becky Neville to order wreaths and create promotional materials. The committee suggested the Select Board consider moving Fifer's Day to the second Saturday in June, citing the Juneteenth holiday weekend as a possible factor in low turnout.

The panel meets next on September 15.
