Commission authorizes state funding letter for open space planning

BOXBOROUGH — Commission votes to authorize state funding letter for open space planning. The Boxborough Agricultural Commission voted unanimously to authorize Chair Owen Neville to sign a letter to the state seeking funding for the Open Space and Recreation Plan. In a separate unanimous vote, the Commission requested negotiations for removal of a shed encroaching on Perkins Woods land, with authorization to use available funds if needed.

The Commission also highlighted Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area grant opportunities during the Town Meeting information session recap and reviewed new Massachusetts Clean Energy Permitting Changes.
