Board approves video broadcast of all Zoning Board meetings.
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of February 3, 2026
BOXBOROUGH — The Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved posting all recorded meetings to the town's Video On Demand service at no additional cost, following discussion of potential legal risks. Town Planner Alec Wade noted more than half of the town's boards already use the service; Board members concluded the risk of creating a permanent video record was low, since appeals of Board decisions are reviewed de novo by trial court. In a separate 5-0 vote, the Board approved a Special Permit for signage at 1220 Liberty Square Road on behalf of applicant James Papalia, imposing four conditions including on-site Building Commissioner approval of the sign's final location outside the public right of way and submission of an as-built certification following installation.
