Agricultural Commission authorizes beaver activity letter

Boxborough Agricultural Commission unanimously authorized Chair Owen Neville to send recommendations regarding beaver activity at Beaver Brook. The Commission approved April 14, 2026 minutes by a four-to-zero vote, with Vice-Chair John Neyland arriving during the meeting. Commission members discussed farm expansion plans with Tim Offei-Addo of Abrantie Farms and will schedule a site visit; Chair Neville and Clerk Bryon Clemence will coordinate.
The Commission also heard updates on conservation efforts, including the Open Space and Recreation Plan, a pending land appraisal at 276 Middle Road, and Perkins Woods activities.
